Artist Biography

Kevin Boylan is a glassblower and sculptor living in La Grande, Oregon. He graduated from Eastern Oregon University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Art, and has recently attended two summer sessions at Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington. After graduating from EOU, Kevin began studying glass under Tom Dimond. After three years exploring new techniques in glass, Kevin is now introducing blown glass elements into his mixed media sculpture. Kevin currently works with Dimond Glass Design in Cove, Nichols Art Glass in The Dalles, and is part of Waypoint Studio artist co-op in La Grande. He has shown work at Carnegie Art Center in Walla Walla and was a featured artist at Crossroads Art Center in Baker City. Most recently Kevin was invited to show at Art Slate in Condon, Oregon and was awarded best in show at Pendleton Art Center regional juried exhibition and Best 3D at Seasons Faire in La Grande, Oregon.
